Transmashholding says buys Rolls-Royce plant in Norway

MOSCOW, Feb 4 (PRIME) -- Russian railway equipment producer Transmashholding has purchased a plant producing diesel and reciprocating engines in Norway from Rolls-Royce Group, the Russian company said in a statement on Thursday.

"The international division of Transmashholding, company TMH International, has reached an agreement with U.K. Rolls-Royce Group plc to buy a plant of diesel and reciprocating medium-speed engines called Bergen Engines, located in the city of Bergen (the Kingdom of Norway)," the company said.

The plant contains metal processing and assembly facilities, a precision casting line, a repair line, an engineering bureau and service centers in seven countries, the statement read.
